Scratches logo

By James L. Leight

This is a side of sidewalk telephone box taken by James L. Leight with Sony DSC 707 digital still camera on June 8, 2002. When Mr. Leight spotted this "scratch" he took the picture while the camera was still draped around the neck of Carter B. Horsley with whom he had been perambulating. Mr. Horsley, who has been searching out "scratches" for more than two decades, was shocked he had not seen the "scratch" but delighted at Mr. Leight's alertness, perspicacity and action and especially the result, which is a million times better than any painting by Cy Twombly.
