650 Park Avenue
By Carter B. Horsley
This 21-story, white-brick apartment building at 650 Park Avenue on the southwest corner at 67th Street has a very prime Upper East Side location across from the 7th Regiment Armory.
It was designed by Kokkins & Lyras, whose other Manhattan buildings include 16 Sutton Place and the Sutton Town House.
It was erected in 1963 and has a canopied entrance, a doorman, a garage, an exercise room, storage, and an enclosed rooftop watertank.
It has some terraces, discrete air-conditioning and sidewalk landscaping, but no balconies and no roofdeck.
It has 94 cooperative apartments.
It is also known as 50-62 East 67th Street.
