300 West End Avenue

By Carter B. Horsley

This attractive, red-brick apartment building was erected in 1917 and converted to a cooperative in 1961.

The 13-story structure has only 33 apartments.

The building has nice fašade detailing and an attractive lobby and canopied entrance. The building permits protruding air-conditioners and has consistent fenestration and no sidewalk landscaping.

The building, which has a doorman, has an excellent location that is convenient to shopping and many restaurants.

It is one block from Riverside Park and a few blocks from public transportation.
